I WAS TOLD THAT MICRISTAR CONTROLLERS WERE NOT BEING MANUFACTURED ANYMORE. IS THIS TRUE?

That is not true. We have been manufacturing Micristar's since we purchased the product line from Research Inc. in 1998 and we plan to into the future.
